G. R. Tarr is an excellent
freediver, a fan of Wong spearguns, and an all around great person. He organized
a trip for his freediving friends and made their tuna dreams come true! He was
as happy to see his friends get tunas as he was to get his own. |

Guy Nesbitt writes about his
tuna....."Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while!". Yeah, right,
Guy....but what about a tuna? Haven't noticed any squirrels running around with
tunas. The most amazing thing is Guy shot this beauty with a hybrid!!! |
"Daryl and Rick, they say that tuna are a
very maneuverable and fast fish, but I think that your gun outmaneuvered the
tuna in this case. Thanks for everything." Sasa Bratic |

"Love my new gun, it shoots much
better than I can! I have fish in the freezer now." Tom Bieri with a grouper

"87 miles offshore.....tuna decided to stop
biting......one Daryl Wong Ono gun............priceless!" |

Chad Palan bags a gag! He got this gorgeous
gag grouper off Jupiter, Florida, while freediving in 60 feet. He used his rear
handle plus Reef gun. |

Good looking WSB, Chip...gun looks
pretty good there too...and so do you! Thanks for the picture.

Dear
Daryl,
How are you? Just a quick message from Andrea here in La Paz to tell you how
blown away I was by your excellent hybrid gun!!! ....It is one of the most
versatile, easy to handle, accurate and powerful guns I have used for bottom
fish! You have really found a great combination!....I just wanted to
congratulate you on an absolutely excellent piece of equipment, and I think I
will borrow John’s gun more and more :^) But count on our recommendation when
client’s ask what gun is a fantastic all-round Baja gun!!
All the best,
Andrea Tomba, Desea Adventures |

"I have to tell you that the only gun that I
use are made by you. The rear handle plus hybrid can't be beat, now its going to be with a carbon fiber barrel
better yet. I can't hardly wait to use it. Here is a picture of my 80 lb ulua that I shot with your 55inch
rear handle reef gun. Mahalo and see you later."....Kip Harworth
|

"Using my new Middle Grounds Special Wong
freeshaft gun, I stoned this 82 pound cubera with a deadly accurate shot from

Kip Harworth......"second time I used it I got
to shoot a 70 lb ulua, what luck, huh? I want to thank you again for the gun. Mahalo and dive safe." |

"We've found that the
longer rubbers are easier to cock and shoot more smoothly...and more
importantly, they are more accurate and have better penetration. Thanks for
the advice. We're again killing nearly everything we aim our Wong guns at!
Mahalo!" -Elton Ushio of Hawaii |
